Tree Removal
Hazardous, storm damaged and decayed trees taken down in sections, with rigging to lower the weight under control instead of dropping it. Crane assisted when the job earns it, and the debris leaves with us.
How a removal runsHouston, TX · Family run since 2001
Removal, trimming, stump grinding and 24/7 storm response across Houston and nineteen towns around it. Licensed and insured, and the estimate is always free.
Before the saw comes out
Most of the decision happens before any cutting starts. These are the things our crew reads in a canopy, and the same things our FAQ tells you to watch for from the ground.

The short version
Tree Care Professional started in 2001 with one man who knew trees and wanted to work outside. It is still family run, still working out of Houston, and still quoting every job in person rather than off a photograph.

Where we work
North up I-45 through Spring, The Woodlands and Conroe. West along the Katy and Cypress corridor. South and southeast toward Pearland, Friendswood and the bay. The clay changes as you cross the city, and so does what a root plate can hold in a storm.

Storm damage does not wait for Monday, so neither do we.
Mon-Fri 8am-5pm for scheduled work, and a 24/7 line for anything that has already come down.

Removal, trimming and stump grinding make up most of the calendar. Everything else we do sits underneath them.

How a removal runs
02
Precision pruning, canopy thinning and deadwood removal. Houston's humidity pushes growth hard, so trimming here is as much about letting wind through the canopy before storm season as it is about shape.
What we take and what we leave
03
Ground to roughly 12 inches below grade, which is deep enough to replant, sod or build over. The chips stay as mulch if you want them, or they leave with the truck.
What is left behindAlso on the truck
Species picked for Houston soil, from 30 gallon saplings to 200 gallon shade trees.
Brush, trees, stumps and debris off a site, graded and hauled, ready to build or plant.
Scheduled grounds work for offices, HOAs, apartment complexes and shopping centers.
24/7 response for storm damage and trees that have already come down.
Storm season
Houston gets its weather in a hurry. We run 24/7 for storm damaged and hazardous trees, and a tree that has come down on a structure goes to the front of the list ahead of scheduled work.

One job, in the customer's words
“tree near home had been struck by lightning in June and was hazardous to the property... downed that tree in less than a hour, protecting the house.”
Lorintha Carr · Google
That is the shape of most of our removals. Something has already gone wrong with the tree, it is standing over something that matters, and the work is getting it down without touching what is underneath it.
How we plan a removal
Cleanup
Debris hauling is part of the price, not an add on. Cut wood goes with us unless you want it stacked, chips stay as mulch if you want them, and we walk the ground before we load up.
“by the time they left my yard was as if they never been there.”Karen Fletcher · Google
Before you call
If yours is not here, call the yard. We would rather talk it through than have you guess at whether a tree is a problem.
We will come out and look at it in person. If it needs work we will tell you what and why, and if it does not, we will tell you that too. The visit costs nothing either way.
